What Song Are You Based On Your Zodiac Sign?
As y’all know, we’re big fans of song lists here.
We’ve done Karaoke Song Lists for different vocal ranges, difficulty levels, as well as a list of our favorite karaoke duets!
This time, we thought we’d try our hand at something new and match songs to zodiac signs.
Each zodiac sign has a character trait that’s more prominent in that particular sign than any other.
If you’ve ever heard anyone say something like “That’s so Capricorn!” or “That’s such a Pisces thing to do”, then you get what we mean.
In this list, we chose a character trait of a zodiac sign and assigned a song that would best display that trait.
But whether or not you believe in Astrology or birth charts or Horoscopes, we hope this list will still inspire you to try the song we think matches your sign the next time you do karaoke!
ARIES (March 21st to April 19th)
Brave – Sara Bareilles
Aries’ common character traits are passionate and courageous which is why Brave by Sara Bareilles captures these traits the best.
Aries are bold. They have a tendency of diving headfirst into risky situations but they also listen closely to their instincts and this usually leads them in the right direction.
TAURUS (April 20th to May 20th)
I Won’t Give Up – Jason Mraz
The Taurus is described as reliable and strong-willed. Their strong-willed personalities can sometimes be perceived as being stubborn but this is more likely because they’re quite resolute.
Jason Mraz hit love-song, I Won’t Give Up exemplifies the softness in the devotion of a Taurus. It’s strong-willed but romantic, stubborn but sweet.
GEMINI (May 21st to June 20th)
Bitch (Nothing in Between) – Meredith Brooks
A Gemini is often ascribed to have a split-personality complex; they are usually associated with traits like inconsistency and indecision.
Geminis are curious and creative which can explain why it seems to have varying personalities because they like expanding their interests.
Meredith Brooks 90’s hit, BItch – also known by its censored titled, Nothing in Between captures how we can be different people all at once and how that they still be totally cool.
CANCER (June 21st to July 22nd)
Emotion – Destiny’s Child
We don’t think there could be a song more perfect for Cancer than Destiny’s Child classic, “Emotion”. Cancers are known for being high on the feelings scale, and it’s their ability to hold a lot of emotions that also make them strong.
Cancers are sensitive and deeply empathetic, which is why they will definitely relate to a song that talks about being emotional about having emotions.
LEO (July 23rd to August 22nd)
Born This Way – Lady Gaga
Leos are notorious for being proud. Their self-confidence can be mistaken for arrogance at times. But pride isn’t necessarily a bad thing, “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga is a Leo’s karaoke song because it’s a perfect example of pride done right.
“Born This Way” celebrates one’s identity – loudly and fabulously, which is very Leo but is also the only way to do so.
VIRGO (August 23rd to September 22nd)
F**kin’ Perfect – P!nk
For the Virgo who’s always striving for perfection.
If you’re a Virgo, chances are that you’re familiar with the feeling of being overwhelmed. Virgos are usually responsible, organized, and hardworking.
They have high standards for themselves which can also lead to them being a bit too critical of themselves and others.
This is why we’re recommending P!nk’s power-ballad, the song reminds us to be kind to ourselves and that we are perfect with all of our flaws.
LIBRA (September 23rd to October 22nd)
Young Folks – Peter Bjorn and John
Libras are known to enjoy being around others. Libras are probably the most social, or at least, the most talkative of the zodiacs.
“Young Folks” is the perfect song because the song literally has the lines “All we care about is talking, talking baby – me and you”, and if that isn’t the most appropriate lyrics for a Libra, we don’t know what is.
SCORPIO (October 23rd to November 21st)
God is a Woman – Arianna Grande
Scorpios are always regarded as the most intense of all zodiacs. Whether it talks about sexual prowess or about their general personality.
The Scorpio seems to be on a different level. Arianna Grande’s “God is a Woman” is on that level. It’s intense, powerful, and is truly for the Scorpio who embraces their intensity and wants is ready to flex their fierceness.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22md to December 21st)
Don’t Stop Me Now – Queen
Sagittarius are supersonic folks. They are described as enthusiastic and dynamic. They lean towards extroversion and are terrific people to be around because you’ll find their bright personality contagious.
Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” definitely captures the energy and all-round carefree-ness of a Sagittarius.
CAPRICORN (December 22nd to January 19th)
Ain’t It Fun – Paramore
Capricorns tend to be very grounded and disciplined. Capricorns will be the responsible ones in the room.
They take pride in being independent and grown. Paramore’s “Ain’t It Fun” is a tongue-in-cheek song that talks about the sobering realities of being an adult and “living in the real world”, which is a skill that a typical Capricorn would have easily developed.
AQUARIUS (January 20th to February 18th)

Pisces is said to carry the traits of all the other signs, making themselves quite empathetic towards their surroundings – whether it be people or their environment.
A Pisces will have the unusual trait of being deeply intuitive while at the same time having their head in the clouds or in this case, somewhere off into space.
